Spiritfarer Locations Guide

Spiritfarer Locations Guide: Every Region, Island, and Sub-region Explore

Spiritfarer is a game about dying, as its creators put it. It’s pretty simple, except this is death, as you’ve never played it before.

Oddly enough, death is a constant presence in video games; sometimes, death is fun; other times, it can be heroic and solemn. It could even be dramatic. However, on rare occasions, a game can hit the nail on the head of our emotions and remind us that, at some point, we will have to say goodbye. Spiritfarer is the prime example of this statement.

With your ship (Best Ship Upgrades Guide), you will anchor in different islands, some with items to loot, others with NPCs to interact with, and others where you will find wandering souls. Each of them will present you with a series of objectives to follow.

Ready to explore the fascinating world of Spiritfarer? Hop on Stella’s boat and steer it to every corner of the game’s four regions.

Welcome to a Spiritfarer Locations Guide.

My Bottom-Line Up Front

You will explore a world full of wonders. There are cities, beautiful forests, and mountains. And each part of the world has its inhabitants and stories to explore. In this guide, I’ll go over each location in detail. Not a fan of long reads? Here’s a TL; DR:

  • Hummingberg Region: Hummingberg is an Austria-styled, sun-baked city that serves as the game’s tutorial. It’s a lovely destination where you’ll learn the mechanics, meet your first few friends and pick up your first treasures.
  • Furogawa Region: Now that you’ve learned the ropes, the game makes it much more challenging to access each sub-region. Furogawa is a Japanese-styled region where you’ll get even more resources and shopping districts.
  • Oxbury Region: Oxbury, a vast, bustling city that resembles New York, puts everything you have learned so far into practice. There are no more spirits to recruit at this point; you’ll just have to stock up on everything you can find to make them happy.

FAQs

Question: Can you run out of space in your Spiritfarer inventory?

Answer: During your travels, you’ll be picking up loads of stuff to bring aboard. However, your inventory has infinite capacity, so you don’t have to worry about running out of space in the bag.

Question: How do I get more space in my Spiritfarer ship?

Answer: On the other hand, the buildable space aboard the ship is limited, although we can always talk to Albert -a shark who loves terrible jokes- to expand the size of the deck.

Question: How can I sail in Spiritfarer?

Answer: The ship can only sail during the day, so it is important to decide our destination as soon as we wake up to arrive in time before the sun sets. The good thing is that the ship moves in real-time, and while it sails the waters, we can do whatever we want on deck.

Parting Words

Stella’s boat will be your portable headquarters, allowing you to set the destination point and let the Everlight drive you there while you do your aboard spirit-carer stuff. The mystical waters around you encompass numerous islands to explore, from a remote mountain to a noisy metropolis.

It is a vast sea full of islands where you find the spirits living everyday lives: working, having a family, looking for fun, relaxing, you name it. Because you want to recruit and care for them, you’ll also look for resources and treasures in these regions.

Spiritfarer is a true gem that is excellent thanks to its beautiful artistic design, animations, and atmosphere. Hats off, everyone.
