Where to Find Sea Critters in Coral Island – A Complete Guide

Coral Island Diving Area

There are nine major areas in the ocean where sea critters can spawn. There are also specific depths to some of the regions. If a critter you want to find isn’t showing up in a particular area, you may need to travel deeper into the ocean to find them.

Some of these areas also aren’t accessible until you complete specific diving quests.

Take a look at the different areas and the sea critters that spawn there.

1. Natural Area

The Natural Area is the initial part of the ocean where you spawn after diving for the first time. It encompasses a vast area that you need to heal with orbs. You’ll need to find these orbs to progress into the other regions.

2. Orchestra Area

There are a few regions in the ocean called the Orchestra area. You’ll need to head east to access both of them. There are also Orchestra areas deeper in the ocean, too. So, if the critter you’re looking for isn’t in the shallow part of the ocean, then head in deeper.

3. Mid Area

Like the Orchestra area, the Mid area has a few more deeper sections in the ocean. You’ll need to meet with the Merfolk before being able to explore the area. Although there aren’t any super rare critters in the region, it does have some rare ones.

4. Jellyfish Area

5. Seahorse Area

The Seahorse area resides in the southern part of the diving map. It sits between the two Herding areas. Much like the Jellyfish area, you can find plenty of seahorses in the Seahorse region. Other critters spawn, too, though.

You’ll discover the Kelp Forest area just before you head into the city belonging to the mermaids. You might think many fish would spawn near a food source, but that isn’t the case. Only a few critters spawn in this area.

Once you advance past the mermaid area, you enter the deeper parts of the ocean. You have a curfew in this deep region, so finding critters that spawn at night can be challenging. Like the Kelp Forest region, the Yoga Retreat area has fewer critters spawning.

The last area is the furthest from the starting area in the ocean. You’ll have to heal a lot of coral and advance through the ocean to reach this mysterious part of the ocean. It’s worth reaching, however, because there are many rare critters here.
