So, after facing off against The Nightmare in the last chapter, Athea died, but thankfully you didn’t! Which means we can keep going on this ghostly adventure, for better or worse.
We move onto the next chapter of Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, as Red must try to make sense of his new surroundings, come to terms with the loss of Athea, and make his way back to New Eden to give her the ascent she deserves.
However, as you’ll soon come to realize, Athea is still with us, and she’s got a score to settle by your side. Without further delay, here is IGC’s Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden Full Walkthrough – The Ends of The Earth

Beginning At The Beach
We begin where Seeker left us in the cove by the sea. Before you set off to explore the beach, do a quick 180 and explore the cave, as you’ll find some supplies and oddities left behind by Seeker.
After stealing their stuff, as they predicted, head out and along the coastline. There isn’t much to see or gather along the way, but you will be able to pick up some Leather and Pyrite here and there.
After a little while, you’ll come to the beginning of the forest area. There is quite a lot of Fauna that you can gather as you go, so be sure to keep a lookout for these along the ground, and run up the path to the left.
You’ll then come to an open area where some wolves are chowing down on a carcass. You’ll need to take them down to proceed, so be at the ready. You’ll notice enemies are leveled now, and that means you’ll earn XP for your efforts now; hooray!
You’ll probably earn a Skill Point and a Level Up after this fight, but you don’t have access to a Skill Tree yet, so no need to think about it right now. Just kill the Wolves and keep moving. Clamber across the fallen log, but before heading right, head left, and you’ll find a Hidden Chest.
When you rejoin the quest path to the right, you’ll come to another clearing with Alpha Wolves, and a few standard Wolves to defeat. Take them down, and this will enter a cut scene where you break down, but then hear a specter call out in the distance. Could it be Athea?
Before exiting this clearing, there is a path to the right where you can climb to the top, and here you’ll find some plants and Leather.
Climb down again, and on the path to the left, you can continue forward, leading you into a cave system. Here, you will find some Leather and Pyrite along the way, and Athea will call out to you to guide you through.
You will then drop down into an open area of the cave with Waterfalls, and here you will see apparitions of Athea through the water.
Before you can examine those, though, you will need to take on a few Specter enemies, including a Blue Phase Specter that can briefly go invisible and move at speed, so be careful with that one.
Then, after this, Investigate the two closest waterfalls to you, and the apparitions will disappear before your eyes, but up ahead, the next waterfall will indeed be Athea.
After the cutscene, where you and Athea reunite, she will ask you to follow her through the cave, and after a short time, you will come to an area where you can set up a Campfire and rest.
This will trigger another cutscene where Red and Athea will discuss whether to Banish, Ascend or bring Athea back to life with an Ancient Ritual, and then Red will rest, allowing the player to access Upgrade Menus.
You will have access to your Skill Tree, where you will be able to select a few Upgrades with the Skill points you earned earlier. I picked Tag-Team and Powder Keg, but the choice is yours.
Then you will also gain access to your Gear Upgrade menu, and with the items you have been picking up along the way, you should be able to Upgrade a few things such as your Armor, your Bane Ring, and your Decoction. After you have upgraded all you can, you can set of as a duo once again.
Exploring the Spectral Realm
Not long after you set off together again, you will come to an area marked with Salt Circles, and you’ll find Demonologist Notes lying around, too.
It seems like all there is, but with the use of Athena’s Unveil ability, you will be able to reveal a Spectral Web, which hides an Occultist’s Key, that we can make use of later. Note that your Bane Ring will glow green when there is a hidden Spectral entity nearby.
After this section, you will come to an area where you will encounter Wolves again, but these seem a little different. This is because they are Possessed.
This means that a Specter emeny has reanimated their corpse and is using them to fight. Athea does more damage against Possessed Enemies, so you’ll want to switch to her, beat the Possessed Enemy, and then switch back to Red to kill the Specter. Defeat this group of enemies, and then move on.
This will take you to an area where there is a clear path ahead, but a diversion to the right, where you can drop down into a lower area of the Cave.
Be sure to explore this optional path. You’ll be ambushed by some Specters when you descend, but nothing you haven’t faced before. Then, when you are down there, be sure to collect all the materials and use Unveil to discover a hidden Demonologist Note.
You can’t climb up the way you dropped in, so climb the rock ladder left of where you dropped in, and you’ll find a Chest at the top. A chest that is opened by the Occultist’s Key, and will gift the player a new piece of equipment, the Spiritual Necklace, which offers a defensive buff to Athea.
After this, head along the main path, and climb out of the caves into the Forest again. Immediately, you will encounter a Specter, which will be Possessing a Wolf before your eyes.
The goal here is to attack them before they Possess the Wolf, making the fight easier as a result. fight off the remaining Specters and keep moving.
You’ll come to an area where Athea will point out Hunter Equipment. When you do, be sure to double back on yourself to check it out for yourself, as you’ll be able to find some Leather, plants, and Pieces of Eight.
A little further ahead, you’ll come to an abandoned camp where you can find some supplies and use Unveil to discover a book titled ‘Blaming The Living.’ Then, after this, there isn’t an awful lot for a little while aside from some Plants to gather near a pond and some obligatory climbing to do.
You’ll eventually discover a bridge leading to New Eden ahead, and in the immediate area, you’ll see a Blocked Path, but seeing as you don’t have the ability to open this path yet, it’s best to make note of it, but ignore for now.
You’ll then get to the Bridge, but sadly, it is out of commission. There is a path on each side that you can drop down, but seeing as Red won’t go down to the left due to his ‘Weak ankles’, we need to head down on the right.
This will signal the end of ‘To The Ends of the Earth’ and begin the next chapter of Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden.
Reunited Beyond The Veil
Another chapter of this immersive and increasingly fun RPG is done and dusted. In our next portion of this walkthrough, we will need to find some essence to sustain Athea, so be sure to keep it with IGC if you wish to continue playing Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden and push onwards.
