This is a PSA for all of you Rain World fans out there. The beloved gaming merch retailer Sanshee has done it again, and is now allowing Rain World fans the chance to own their very own Glowing Lizard plush!Â
As someone that lets all of their days blur into one, it can be hard to keep track of upcoming events and holidays. Well, on the 14th of August 2023, it was World Lizard Day, which is apparently a thing; who knew?
So to celebrate this event, Sanshee, and Rain World have teamed up to offer fans the chance to cuddle up with a variety of Glowing Lizard plush toys, which add to the growing line-up of Rain World merch on the site.
These Glowing Lizards come in three varieties, Green, Blue, and Pink, and are guaranteed to be shipped by December 2023.
Anyone that keeps up with the wealth of nerd-friendly stock on Sanshee will already know that Rain World Slugpups are already available to own and snuggle with, in a variety of different colors. So if you don’t want to wait until December to get your hands on a Rain World plush, Slugpups are the solution.

Now that we have your attention, it’s time to get down to the finer details, allowing you to use girl math to justify this purchase. Here is a breakdown of what’s on offer here.
Key Features
Firstly, these are fully licensed products, okayed by Videocult and Akupara Games. This means that this has the developer’s seal of approval.
Second, did you know that these cute little guys actually glow in the dark? All you have to do is let these lizards charge up during the day, and when you finally kill the lights after a long day, these squishy reptiles will offer an ambient glow to your bedroom. Pretty cool, if you ask me.
Then thirdly, as mentioned, these Glowing Lizards come in three color varieties, Blue, Green, and Pink.
SizeÂ
There’s good news and bad news on this front. The good news is that this Plush isn’t a teeny-tiny one. Each of the lizard variants are approximately thirteen inches long ‘from snoot to tail.’ However, the bad news is that the Glowing Lizards do not come in a variety of sizes at the time of writing.
Pricing & BundlesÂ
Time to employ that aforementioned girl math. Each of these Rain World Glowing Lizards is available for pre-order at £30/$40, and there is no limit on quantity per order.
However, if you are willing to flash the cash, you can also make avail of Sanshee’s Lizard Lover Special, which allows Rain World fans to purchase all three of the Glowing Lizard variations for £75/$100, which is a welcome saving if you plan to grab all three anyway.
