Xbox Indies Set To Appear At Gamescom 2023 Revealed

Even if E3 may be gone for good, indie gamers can still look forward to the summer Gamescom 2023 conference for exciting indie Xbox releases and announcements.

For those who don’t know, Gamescom is a gaming trade fair held in Germany each year, announcing promising new games across every platform with a select number of indie titles for us to enjoy.

Featuring mind-blowingly gorgeous climbing adventures like Jusant or spooky undersea adventures like Under the Waves, Gameranx details Gamescom’s announcement of a plethora of titles with a couple of quirky gems on the horizon.

Though bigger games and DLC like Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty or Payday 3 are likely to hog more of the spotlight, everyone loves the little guys, and Xbox Game Pass is sure to offer some of these titles if prospective buyers play their cards right.

So without further ado, let’s get started on the hot new indie Xbox releases set to appear at Gamescom 2023!

In the Works

For Xbox indie games without a playable demo, we can enjoy some gorgeous visuals and fun trailers to look forward to their release.

  • Jusant (TBA)
  • Party Animals (Sep 20th)
  • Under the Waves (TBA)
  • Another Crab’s Treasure (2024)
  • Lightyear Frontier (2024)
  • Cocoon (Sep 29th)
  • Mineko’s Night Market (TBA)
  • Naiad (TBA)
  • Island of Winds (TBA)

Playable Demos

While these Xbox indies are still in the works, we can demo them on Steam to see playing as ferocious feline lives up to the hype.

Out Now!

While only two Xbox titles are out now, and one of them looks suspiciously like Fall Guys, we can play these two titles at our as soon as we like!

  • Stumble Guys (Out Now!)
  • Antstream Arcade (Out Now)

Glory to Games Pass

Though we already detail how games pass features dozens of worthwhile indies like Celeste and Venba, prospective buyers can likely expect some of these titles to come to game pass to avoid purchasing the game entirely.

Even if these games are less likely to come to game pass for some time, they could make an excellent addition if we want to wait to purchase them outright.
